Content Lab Day I WS 2025/26

Once again, a new student team from the "WM Content Lab" is getting ready to take on responsibility for the social media channels of the Werbung und Marktkommunikation degree programme for a semester.

The "WM Content Lab Day" project day on Monday, 3 November 2025, offered the best conditions for this. The students of the "Content Lab Strategy", "Content Lab Marketing" and "Content Lab Management" courses were able to get to know each other better, exchange ideas across teams and develop their joint ideas.

The creative day at WM

The aim of the entire Content Lab team is to design, critically analyse and further develop the presence of the Werbung und Marktkommunikation degree programme on the social media channels LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok based on their findings. The creative day offers all participants sufficient time and freedom to enter the content planning, production, playout and analysis phase with joy and fresh motivation.

Team Orga as coordination centre

All the threads of the Content Lab come together in the Organisation team. Its tasks include the preparation and implementation of the project days, as well as the organisation of the entire Content Lab throughout the semester. The project managers are responsible for communication, processes and tools, providing feedback, coordinating tasks and submissions and organising the MediaNight appearance. They were able to put their skills to the test for the first time at Content Lab Day I: Getting to know each other, working together, brainstorming, content production as well as time to exchange ideas and have fun were scheduled in a variety of ways and guaranteed a successful kick-off.

Social media teams and content production

The teams of the social media channels Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn will present their channels in different, creative approaches. How will the teams be structured, what challenges do they want to face and what new creative ideas should be established?

All social media teams were able to make excellent use of the project day to present their channels, teams and approaches. There was also ample opportunity to identify potential for improvement, record wishes and ideas and thus gain important impetus for further development. And, of course, the welcome opportunity to get involved in content production directly on site was utilised. Introductory videos of all the teams and TikTok shoots brought variety and good humour along the way.

Team Digital Insight takes a close look

A little less in the limelight - but all the more important behind the scenes: the Digital Insights team is made up of analytics experts.

The team, which had already worked intensively on the topic of social media analytics under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Weißmüller, presented its structure and approach at the creative day. Over the course of the semester, the social media teams will benefit from the findings from monitoring and analysis and receive valuable tips on how to improve their channels.

New ideas for the WM social media channels

The students were able to make ideal use of the Content Lab Day to start their work in the WM Content Lab in an informed, orientated and, above all, motivated manner. We look forward to fresh, creative and committed ideas from the WM Content Lab team in the winter semester 2025/26!
