Welcome to WM

On Monday, 6 October 2025, Stuttgart Media University welcomed the newly enrolled Bachelor students for the winter semester 2025/26.
During the various welcomes by the Rectorate, in the degree programmes, the "Hello HdM" information event, the fresher's fair and the guided tours, the university campus was lively, exciting and diverse for the new students, fuelling their anticipation of their upcoming studies.
The team of the Werbung und Marktkommunikation degree programme also gave its new "chicks" a warm welcome.
After the opportunity to exchange ideas and get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere, the Dean of Studies, Prof Gabriele Kille, welcomed the new WM students. How is the degree programme structured, what development opportunities does it offer and what doors can open for students to gain valuable experience during and after their studies? She gave the new students motivating and inspiring impulses and best wishes for a successful degree programme to start this stage of their lives.
The entire WM team also introduced themselves personally, as well as the areas of teaching and work, and outlined further individual perspectives on the future period of study.
Why Werbung und Marktkommunikation?
The focus of the welcome was not on the members of the degree programme, but on the new students. The brief personal introductions of the young students made it easier for them to get to know each other.
In addition, the reasons for choosing the Werbung und Marktkommunikation degree programme or the reference to individual previous experiences gave students the opportunity to get a more detailed picture of their future fellow students. And last but not least, the expectations of the degree programme and a possible future career provided interesting insights.
