Stuttgart Media University opened its doors on Wednesday, 19 November 2025 for the Study Information Day for the 2025/26 winter semester! On the university campus, pupils and all interested guests were able to find out about the media degree programmes, study requirements, application procedures and future careers with a wide range of offers.
WM introduces itself
The Werbung und Marktkommunikation degree programme presented itself with exciting lectures, project and degree programme presentations and an information stand. The young guests had the opportunity to find out more about the Werbung und Marktkommunikation degree programme in personal discussions with students and staff from the degree programme.
Why advertising? What makes the Werbung und Marktkommunikation degree programme special? What content is taught, what topics do you deal with as a WM student and how can you develop your skills? Julia Nanakin, herself a graduate of the programme and now a member of the WM team, presented the programme in an enthusiastic, entertaining and very likeable way.
Projects and short lectures
Two student project teams vividly outlined their projects from the courses "Visual Language and Photo Design" and "Visual Communication" and reported vividly on the tasks, challenges, findings and results.
The short lectures by WM colleagues Prof. Dr Matthias Zehetmayer, Prof. Dr Sebastian Wolf and Prof. Dr Burkard Michel gave the visitors exemplary impressions of the subject areas in the degree programme.
Questions, answers and tips
Dedicated WM students were on hand at the information stand to answer students' questions in detail and provide them with valuable information and tips. What are the requirements? How does the application process work? How is the degree programme structured? What career opportunities are available after graduation? Is it possible to study abroad? These and many other questions were answered here. Personal experiences and advice on studying were also passed on in informative discussions.
WM says thank you!
The Werbung und Marktkommunikation degree programme would like to thank all guests for their interest and attention! And of course we say "Thank you!" to all the lecturers for their exciting presentations and to all the dedicated students for their time and helpful support at our WM information stand.
