WM welcomes its first-year students

First semester welcome in the Werbung und Marktkommunikation degree programme! Stuttgart Media University welcomed all newly enrolled students for the summer semester 2025 on Monday, 17 March 2025. After the welcome from the Rectorate, there was also a warm welcome for the first-year students on the WM degree programme. Prof Gabriele Kille, Dean of Studies WM, welcomed the new students, gave them an initial overview of the course of study, inspiring thoughts and best wishes for their studies. She also highlighted the many opportunities available to the young students and introduced key contacts at the university. The entire WM team also took the opportunity to introduce themselves personally and provide insights into their teaching and areas of responsibility.
Getting to know each other and exciting insights
The welcoming event also gave the new recruits the opportunity to introduce themselves to their new fellow students and the WM degree programme team. What previous experience do they bring with them, what were the reasons for choosing the degree programme and what exciting characteristics and insights distinguish the young students?
What are the expectations of the degree programme, how do the new students imagine their future careers and how did they find out about the degree programme? These and other interesting backgrounds were obtained in the exchange and enriched the process of getting to know each other.
